The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors at Foster Park in Le Mars, Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on July 14th, 2012. The Reverend Andrew Ratcliffe will be officiating the ceremony. Folding chairs will be provided.
A reception of desserts and dancing will follow the ceremony in the banquet room of the Willow Creek Golf Course on the edge of town.
Things to Consider
We will be taking group photographs after the ceremony, with limited daylight available. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for ease with parking, seating, and an on-time start to the ceremony.
An alternate ceremony location, in case of rain, thunderstorm, tornado, acidic precipitation, alien invasion, or other disaster will be posted on this site at a later date. You can check Le Mars's forecast at any time using the Weather Channel's webpage for Le Mars. Please contact the bride's father, Mark, in case of a Klingon intrusion aboard your starship.
There are a fair amount of trees in the area of the ceremony, and mosquitoes may be present. Please be prepared with insect repellent, just in case. You can check the mosquito forecast at any time as well. Just click here.
Two furry members of the family will be present at the ceremony: the bride's family dog, Leroy, and the bride and groom's dog, Sadie. They are both completely hypoallergenic, incredibly friendly, and ridiculously cute. If you're a dog lover, be sure to greet them with a gentle scratch behind the ears.
